Ecologist/Senior Ecologist, ideally with Bat Licence

We are seeking a committed, enthusiastic and skilled ecologist to join our Ecology Team to work on projects at all scales and across a variety of sectors.

Keystone Ecology would particularly like to hear from Bat ecologists who want to grow and broaden their experience and who have sound knowledge of current ecology legislation, planning policy, survey standards and licensing requirements plus the ability to deliver robust, clear and concise client advice and written outputs.

Who should apply

Candidates with a degree in an ecological discipline and preferably a minimum of 4 years within a specialist ecology consultancy. Ideally you will hold a bat licence.  You will hold a full UK driving licence and be a member of CIEEM. You will live within commuting distance of our Tetbury office or be willing to relocate.

The Role

You will be responsible for the management and delivery of consultancy projects, in particular bat projects, from inception to completion, which includes but is not limited to: designing project briefs; production of quotes; fieldwork; provision of client advice; liaison with regulators; production of reports and other outputs; and the management of sub-contractors.
